21 mins: Oscar Bobb and Erling Haaland combine to work the ball into the box before Haaland shoots and wins a corner after Kevin Diks’ block.

Man City win the first corner of the match with Julian Alvarez scuttling across to take it. He sends an outswinging cross into the penalty area and picks out Manuel Akanji perfectly.

Akanji volleys his effort at goal, drills it with some pace and beats the goalkeeper to send the host in front.

Copenhagen get the match underway at the Etihad Stadium. They work the ball down the right wing and press high immediately. It’s a decent move but the ball runs out of play and City win a throw in.
