In our review, our tester said: “The new design, faster processor, better and bigger display are easily worth the price, and the new iPad is a real rival to the iPad Air, which usually costs £170 more.” They added that the iPad is “ the best tablet under £500 from any manufacturer, in my opinion.” Not too shabby.

Securing a spot in our review of the best coffee machines, the bambino can be snapped up with £100 off. If you’re one of the very few who have yet to invest in an air fryer, you’ll be glad to know Amazon has discounted a whole host of them. Packing 10 functions into one appliance, the Ninja speedi is reduced by £110 in the spring sale. Listing everything from baking and steaming to searing and more within its cooking repertoire, it will feed up to four people, and includes a 5.7l cooking pot and a cook and crisp tray.

Fitbit luxe activity tracker: Was £125.95, now £79, Amazon.co.uk

The price of the Fitbit luxe has fallen to £79. It was praised for its good looks in our review, but rest assured it’s also got “plenty of fitness tech hidden within”, according to our reviewer. “It covers the essentials well,” they noted, “with Fitbit’s 24/7 heart rate monitoring, 20 exercise modes, swim tracking, menstrual health tracking and stress management tools’’. Right now, you can nab it with nearly 40 per cent off.

Fairy non-bio platinum pods: Was £36, now £24.55, Amazon.co.uk

While this may not be the most exciting purchase you’ll make this week, Amazon’s sales can be handy for stocking up on household essentials, from pet food to cleaning supplies. Case in point, you can clean up with 32 per cent off Fairy’s non-bio platinum pods, with these pods covering you for the next 120 washes.

Ninja seems to be dominating when it comes to big-ticket cooking appliances (air fryers, we’re looking at you), but don’t overlook its kitchenware. The price of this set of knives have been sliced by a 35 per cent, and they come IndyBest tried and tested.

I’ve spotted a razor-sharp saving on Ninja’s Foodi StaySharp knives, which has brought them down to just shy of £200. In our review, our writer awarded the kitchenware five stars (out of five). They said: “The brilliant thing about this set is that the block comes with a built-in sharper on the side, which means you’ll always have super-sharp knives with little effort.”
