Yang Seung-ho is a South Korean singer, actor, and dancer who became renowned as the leader of the K-pop group MBLAQ (2009-2015) alongside the members Mir, G.O. and former bandmates Lee Joon and Thunder. His band has released popular singles such as Cry, Y, G.O.O.D Luv, Oh Yeah, Sad Memories, Baby U!, Mona Lisa, Smoky Girl, This is War, to name a few.

He was supposed to be launched with the stage name ‘Mir’, but he decided against it. Additionally, he is the only MBLAQ member to use his real name instead of a stage name.

Seung-ho has featured on several television shows including Idol Maknae Rebellion, Super Junior Miracle, Running Man, Sharp 1, and Kara Bakery.

On October 16, 2017, he got enlisted in the military and served until his discharge on July 24, 2019.

Seung-ho is the oldest member and hence, the leader of the group.

He has described his ideal girl as the actress Jun Ji-hyun, who is best known for her breakthrough role in My Sassy Girl (2001).

Seung-ho is quite proficient at beatboxing.

He is best friends with fellow K-pop idol and T-ara band member Park So-yeon as they both studied at the same school.

In December 2009, Seung-ho participated in the Makbanshi wrestling game and ended up fracturing his ribs.
