Career
After completing her formal education, Malati Gaurish worked as a news reporter at Tv9Kannada news channel from 2006 to 2009. She then served as a programme producer at Suvarna News from 2009 to 2011. From March 2013 to March 2016, she served Samaya News as a senior reporter. From 19 December 2016 to 15 November 2017, Malati Gaurish served as the head of the centre at Jana Pragathi Center in Kengeri, Bangalore. Malati Gaurish joined Alma Media School, a journalism school established by her husband, Gaurish Akki, in Bengaluru, Karnataka on 16 November 2017.
