Aayushmaan Srivastava was born in Mumbai. He attended Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. He pursued the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from 2011 to 2013 at Oberoi International School, Mumbai, AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A (Advanced) international studies from 2013 to 2015 at Podar International School, Mumbai, and a bachelor’s degree in science from 2015 to 2018 at London School of Economics and Political Science, London.

Aayushmaan made his debut in 2021 with the short film Speed Dial in which he made a cameo appearance.

In 2019, he promoted a campaign started by Kailash Kher in which he played the sitar in the commercial. In 2019, he got the opportunity to play the sitar with Baba Pt. Kartick Kumar on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
