Baba Ramdev was born as Ramakrishna Yadav in 1965 in Alipur, Mahendragarh district of Haryana. His father’s name was Ram Yadav and his mother’s name was Gulabo Devi. He got his early education from school in Shahzadpur, Haryana and then later went to the ashram of many gurukuls and gurus to study literature, religion, Vedas, yoga and literature deeply.
Along with this, he received Yoga and Sanskrit education from Khanpur. After this, he would teach yoga to the people for free and then went to Haridhar where he gained knowledge of ancient Indian scripture, culture and traditions in Kangri University and Gurukul.
