Since then, many rumours have circulated surrounding Spears’ alleged infidelity and Asghari’s alleged attempts to renegotiate their prenuptial agreement.

Pop star’s memoir is set for release on 24 October

Spears has said that the media fallout ignited by Justin Timberlake’s 2002 music video for his song “Cry Me a River” depicted her as a “harlot”.

The singer, 41, made the revelation in her forthcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, which will be released on 24 October. In an excerpt, Spears recalls the criticism that she faced when it was suggested in the press that Timberlake had written the heartbreak-themed song about her.

In the audition tape, published by the Daily Mail on Monday (23 October), Spears reads an emotional scene with Gosling off camera in which Allie tells Noah she is marrying another man.
