In the 2019 NFL Draft, Elgton Jenkins was selected in the second round by the Green Bay Packers with the 44th overall pick.

On May 13, 2019, he went on to sign his four-year rookie contract worth $6.782 million.

He entered his rookie season as a backup for Green Bay Packers and made his first NFL start in a Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos on September 22, 2019, replacing an injured Lane Taylor.

Elgton Jenkins went on to earn his first Pro Bowl nod as a starter during the 2020–21 season.

After David Bakhtiari suffered an injury, Elgton Jenkins filled in for him and entered the 2021 season as the Green Bay Packers‘ starting left tackle. He started eight games there but then suffered a torn ACL in Week 11 of a 34–31 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Elgton Jenkins signed a four-year, $68 million contract extension with the Green Bay Packers on December 23, 2022, and was named as an alternate to the 2023 Pro Bowl.
