Ellen Dubin is a Canadian actor, theatre actor, and voice artist who is known for having been cast as Giggerota in the science fiction television series Lexx and Jeri Slate in the supernatural drama television series The Collector. She voiced the character of Lori in an episode titled An Animated Mess of the superhero anime series Sailor Moon in 1995.

Between 1997 and 2002, she played the role of Giggerota (a cannibal convicted on the Cluster who escaped on the Lexx with the rest of the crew and later attempted to kill them on Brunnis by making a dying star go supernova) in the science fiction drama television series Lexx (also known as LEXX: The Dark Zone Stories and Tales from a Parallel Universe). Ellen Dubin co-starred in the show alongside Brian Downey, Eva Habermann, Michael McManus, Tim Curry, Doreen Jacobi, Rutger Hauer, Michael Habeck, Andy Jones, Malcolm McDowell, and Xenia Seeberg.

She was cast as Jeri Slate (a reporter who regularly encounters Morgan Pym in her investigations and is professionally obsessed with him) in the supernatural drama television series The Collector from 2004 to 2006. This role got her nominated for a Gemini Award.

Ellen Dubin was seen as Aunt Ilene in the 2004 American independent coming-of-age teen comedy film Napoleon Dynamite.

In 2016, she appeared as Marie MacDonald (the Ambassador’s P.A.) in the Canadian-American crime drama film The Red Maple Leaf. It stars Frank D’Angelo, James Caan, Robert Loggia, Martin Landau, Paul Sorvino, Kris Kristofferson, and Mira Sorvino.
