He is the co-owner and co-founder of the hockey team called Seattle Kraken along with David Bonderman.

Before setting his sights on Hollywood, Jerry worked at an advertising agency in Detroit  and helped create high-quality commercials for brands such as Pepsi and Pontiac GTO.

Between the years 2004 and 2009, he had 6 of his produced shows airing on television at the same time and raking in millions of viewers each week. These were CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Amazing Race, CSI: Miami, Cold Case, CSI: NY, and Without a Trace.
