Kiran Abbavaram is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Telugu entertainment industry. He is known for playing the role of Vishnu in the Telugu-language film Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha (2023).

Kiran Abbavaram was born on 15 July 1992 (age 30 years; as of 2022) in Peddakalvapalle, Rayachoti, Andhra Pradesh, India. Kiran did his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Madanapalle. Soon after completing his higher secondary education, he pursued a Bachelor of Technology at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh.

In an interview, Kiran said that his father was a farmer. Kiran’s brother’s name is Abbavaram Ramanjulu Reddy.

On 1 December 2021, Ramanjulu passed away in a road accident. In a social media post, Kiran shared the news of his brother’s demise and requested his followers to drive safely. He captioned the post,
He lost his life due to road accident. Please Take care while driving … mee anandam kosam kastapadevallu untaru adi meru pondakunda pote vallu tattukoleru. (sic)” (The ones working hard for your happiness cannot bear it if something happens to you.).”

In 2019, Kiran Abbavaram made his film debut with the Telugu film Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru in which he played the role of Raja.

In 2021, he wrote and was featured in the Telugu film SR Kalyanamandapam in which he played the role of Kalyan. In 2022, he appeared in the film Sebastian P.C. 524 in which he played the role of Sebastian. In the same year, he was featured in the Telugu-language film Sammathame in which he played the role of Krishna.

- In 2016, a friend of Kiran wanted to make a short film and asked him to play the role of the lead actor in his film. According to Kiran, after working in the short film, he developed an interest in acting and later, decided to pursue a full-time career as an actor. In an interview, Kiran talked about this and said,
Well, getting into acting was never in mind. A friend of mine wanted to make a short film and he said I would look good in the lead role and asked me to try acting. This was back in 2016 and it worked really well. So post that, I met a few people who were interested in making a film and that’s how Raja Varu Rani Gaaru happened.” - He follows a non-vegetarian diet.
- In an interview, Kiran said that he never wanted to play the role of a ‘spoiled brat of a rich dad’ or a ‘Richie Rich’ in films. He explained,
Oh, yes! I did. Can never play a ‘spoiled brat of a rich dad’ or a ‘richie rich’. I can never imagine myself in such roles. Not just I, but even people cannot watch in such roles. It will be very artificial there and those roles are not my cup of tea. I would like to be a boy next door and just any other youngster.”
