Laxmi Yadav is an Indian cricketer who was picked by UP Warriorz Women for Rs. 10 lakhs in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction held on 13 February 2023. She plays in the position of wicketkeeper and is also a right-hand batsman.

Laxmi Yadav was born on Wednesday, 22 October 1997 (age 25 years; as of 2022) in Bamheta village, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Her zodiac sign is Libra. She did her schooling at Ram Kishan Institute, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Laxmi used to play cricket since childhood and always received the support of her family. In 2013, she started her training under coach Sanjay Nagar. Later, when Sanjay joined she joined Sunil Saini’s DS Cricket Academy, Laxmi also joined the academy.

Cricket
In 2011, she joined the Delhi women’s cricket team and played the Ranji Trophy for them. In 2015, she became part of Delhi’s Under-19 team. On 2 January 2015, she played the Senior Womens One Day League for Delhi Railways against Maharashtra Railways.

In 2018, she scored 92 runs off 85 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the Women Cricket Under 23 T20 League And Knockout (2018-19). After the tournament, she got selected to represent the India B team in T20 Challenger Trophy in 2020, but she was not in the playing squad.

In 2019, she started playing for Indian Railways.
