Maneesha Subramaniam is an Indian radio jockey, actress, and singer, who has worked in the Malayalam film industry. On 26 March 2023, she participated in season five of the reality TV show Bigg Boss Malayalam.

Maneesha Kandan Subramaniam was born on 12 October in Perambra city, Thrissur district, Karnataka, India. Her zodiac sign is Libra. Maneesha completed her schooling at St. Augustine’s Girls High School in Muvattupuzha, Kerala. Thereafter, she enrolled at the Vimala College in Thrissur, Kerala. In 1990, she enrolled at the Marthoma College for Women in Perumbavoor, Kerala, where she pursued a pre-degree course. While studying in college, she performed Kadhaprasangam, a lyrical narrative or storytelling performance, and represented her college at various events.

Career
Radio Jockey
After completing her formal education, Maneesha Subramaniam shifted to Dubai, where she started working as a radio jockey. Thereafter, she worked as an RJ with East Coast Vijayan, a Malayali film producer and lyricist and K. P. K. Vengara. Maneesha is one of the founding members of Asianet Radio, a Dubai-based Malayali radio network. After working in Dubai for more than eleven years, Maneesha returned to India, where she started working with All India Radio (AIR) in Thrissur. There, she received a B high grade in the Lalitha Gana category and a B grade in the drama dubbing category. The grading system of the AIR is based on the quality of performance of an RJ.
Singer and Voice Over Artist
Manisha started her career as a singer when she was in Dubai in the 1990s and sang songs for East Coast Vijayan and K. P. K. Vengara. Maneesha learnt music from Ananthapadmanabhan and Araikal Nandakumar. In 2005, she rendered her voice to a film titled Iruvattam Manavaatti. In 2009, she lent her voice to the songs of the film Kana Kanmani. She rendered her voice in the 2010 film Pulliman. She has also participated in many events with famous South Indian singers like P. Jayachandran and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. She has also worked in many Malayali films as a voice-over artist.

She has acted in more than seventeen films including Rasantram (2006), Ennum Eppozhum (2015), and Janamaithri (2019). In the 2011 sitcom Thatteem Mutteem, Maneesha played the role of Vasavadattha.
