  • After he graduated from Columbia University in the mid-2000s, Matt was hired by CBS Broadcasting Inc. (an American commercial broadcast TV and radio network) as an intern. He went on to become the director of digital development for the company.
  • He later worked for Lionsgate Films (a Canadian-American film production and film distribution studio) where he rose to the position of senior vice president of development and production.
  • In 2013, Matt founded a company called Chapter One Films and signed a first-look deal with Blumhouse Productions, an American film & TV production company.
