Mayra Bueno Silva’s career started in 2016 and she required 3 fights on the regional Brazilian scene to be invited onto Dana White‘s Contender Series Brazil 1. She was successful in all three.
On September 22, 2018, she made her UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) debut facing Canadian mixed martial artist Gillian Robertson at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Anders. She went on to win the fight via submission in round one.
On March 14, 2020, Mayra Bueno Silva faced Ukrainian professional mixed martial artist Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night: Lee vs. Oliveira and lost the fight via unanimous decision. For this fight, she received the “Fight of the Night” award.
