Nawab is an Indian singer, who mainly works in the Punjabi music industry. He is known for singing the crowd-puller Punjabi song Expert Jatt (2018).

Nawab was born as Mandeep Nadha on Saturday, 9 July 1992 (age 31 years; as of 2023), and he hails from Chak Jamalgarh, Jalalabad tehsil of Firozpur district in Punjab, India. His zodiac sign is Cancer. Growing up, he developed an interest in music listening to Kuldeep Manak when he was around 8 or 9 years old and gave his first stage performance when he was in Class 8. He pursued his schooling at DAV Jalalabad. He moved to Chandigarh when he was in Class 12 to receive coaching to get into an engineering college. He enrolled in Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, where he pursued Civil Engineering while living at Punjabi singer Kuldeep Manak’s home. At that time, Kuldeep Manak was suffering from acute illness. Nawab spent the next few years aiding Yudhvir Manak (Kuldeep Manak’s son) in taking care of his father. On 28 November 2011, Kuldeep Manak died due to pneumonia after which Nawab continued to stay there with Yudhvir Manak.

After completing his formal education, he relocated to Chandigarh, where he pursued music as a full-fledged career. There, he was introduced to the entertainment company Ishqpura 07 Films which made the video of Expert Jatt.

Career
He ventured into the entertainment industry around 2010. Back then, he worked on a single, but it never materialized. In 2018, he released his first single Expert Jatt under the record label Juke Dock, which earned him immense popularity. The song featured music by Mista Baaz.
In the same year, he released the song titled Follow under the record label T-Series Apna Punjab with music by Mista Baaz. In the following year, he released the songs ‘Gedi Route’ under T-Series Apna Punjab, ‘Tattoo Song’ under YRF Digital, and ‘Nawabi’ under Big Studios (his own production house). Later, he released various songs under Expert Jatt Records like White Gold (2020), Mehnge Suit (2021), and Combination (2022).

- It was Punjabi singer Navi Ferozpurwala (also known as Navi Kamboz) who came up with the screen name Nawab for him.
- Nawab faced formidable hurdles in making the song Expert Jatt. Earlier, its music video was shot in Dubai and the song was sung on a high music scale. When Nawab presented the song to his close acquaintances, they recommended he lower the scale. Then, he again had to shoot the music video of the song due to lip sync issues. In fact, Nawab had to take a loan for completing the song. At first, he asked his family to invest in his project, but as they were already against his decision to pursue a career in the music industry, they refused to lend him money. Only his mother knew that had raised a loan for the song.
