Film
Rio Kapadia played the role of Shankaran in the Bollywood film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ (2001). He gained immense popularity for playing the role of Australian commentator in the film ‘Chak De! India’ (2007). In 2008, he played the role of Rensil in the film ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan,’ starring R. Madhavan.

In 2012, he appeared in the film ‘Agent Vinod’ in which he played the role of Alay Khan. He appeared in some more films including ‘Aakhari Decision’ (2010), ‘Shree'(2013), ‘Mardaani’ (2014), ‘Happy New Year’ (2014), and ‘Khuda Hafiz’ (2020).
