Saniya Anklesaria was born on Sunday, 30 September 2001 (age 20 years; as of 2021) in Mumbai. She has studied at PG Garodia School (ICSE) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) at SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, India. Saniya participated in Raell Padamsee’s seven-day acting workshop, on completion of which she got her first television commercial at the age of six. After this, she got to sign many television commercial projects.

Saniya has marked her performance as a child actor in many films such as ‘Rowdy Rathore’ (2012) in which she played the role of Inspector Vishal Sharma’s daughter, in ‘Raanjhanaa’ (2013) as (young) Zoya Haider, in ‘Life’s Good’ (2018) as Mishti, and in ‘Bombairiya’ (2019) as Alice D’Mello. Saniya Anklesaria has been featured in short films as well. She appeared as the leading child in the short film ‘Yellow Umbrella,’ Aaliya in ‘A Quiet Noise,’ and Minnie, a daughter of the main characters in ‘Aatankwadi Uncle.’
