At the age of just 12, she started working for All India Radio (AIR). Subsequently she got chance to voice over most popular cartoon character Nobita in serial Doraemon on Hungama channel.

Simaran moved to Mumbai in the year 2016, after successfully given voice to Nobita for more than 10 years. In 2017, she made her acting debit with TV serial Agniphera, which was successfully telecast for two years on prime time. She played lead role of Srishti alongside Yukti Kapoor, Ankit Gera and Shakti Singh. Later she did the lead role for the Zee TV’s shows Aghori and Agar Tum Na Hote.
