My mom still doesn’t understand what I do, dad is pretty understanding now and very supportive. Initially, both of them never believed in me and that was very hard on me mentally. I’m glad things worked out great eventually. So I urge people to rebel out even against your parents because they will eventually understand, otherwise, both parents and yourself will be miserable for not pursuing what you want in life. The best thing is to move out and live alone. I did that, I live in the same city as my parents. Things were never easy but things WILL work out for everyone in due time.”

  • In an interview, while talking about the challenges she faced being a female rapper in India. She replied,
The challenges are the same as in any industry, which is populated mostly by men. Here, the audience is also mostly male, so I believe people don’t give you the same support that they show the men. But I guess I’m here to change that. Sexism is the same everywhere so I like to talk more about what I do and how I do things than my challenges because honestly, it’s tiring. I should probably save that for my songs as content.”
  • In an interview, while giving advice to people who want to get into the hip-hop industry and become a rapper, she said,
My advice would be – don’t listen to advice because you know what is best for you. The internet will tell you if you suck or you’re good at rapping, so that’s that! But always have a few go-to people and mentors who you trust for advice. And make mistakes and fail hard, it’s not a bad thing!”
