  • In 2000, she became a member of the all-female pop group called Sansara along with Monica Nath and Shinata Patel. However, the group disbanded soon after releasing hit singles like Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai and Habibi.
  • Her father named her Sophia since he was a massive fan of the Italian actress and singer, Sophia Loren.
  • She learned Western classical music for 3 years under Helena Shenel and trained in Indian classical music from Pandit Ashkaran Sharma.
  • Sophie is trained in the Indian classical dance form called Bharatnatyam and the Western dance form called salsa.
  • In June 2014, she participated in season 7 of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa with her dance partner Deepak Singh. However, she got eliminated in week 12 on August 30, 2014.
