Ciryl Gane reveals key coaching tip that he ignored in Jon Jones loss
The UFC returns to London this evening, as Tom Aspinall looks to right the wrong of his last outing at the O2 Arena.
The Wigan heavyweight takes on Marcin Tybura in the main event tonight, almost exactly one year on from his ill-fated clash with Curtis Blaydes, which ended after 15 seconds when Aspinall suffered a knee injury. Aspinall, 30, has since undergone surgery and claimed that he is now better than ever, and he will seek to prove that against Poland’s Tybura, 37.
In the co-main event, fan favourite “Meatball” Molly McCann goes up against Julija Stoliarenko, with the Liverpool strawweight aiming to get back to winning ways. In her most recent fight, McCann, 33, was submitted in the first round by Erin Blanchfield in November.
McCann’s close friend Paddy Pimblett will be in the crowd to cheer her on, and to watch what should be an entertaining set of contests, including Indy Sport’s pick for fight of the night: Nathaniel Wood, the only London fighter on the card, against Andre Fili at featherweight.

UFC London 2023 LIVE: Herbert vs Ziam
Both lightweights stand orthodox. Leon Edwards is in Herbert’s corner!
Lots of quick feints from both fighters. A jab just about gets through for Herbert.
Ziam kicks to the body now, before Herbert kicks low. Ziam slings a right overhand onto the temple of Herbert, then throws a low kick of his own.
He catches Herbert with a left hook, as the Briton misses with his own left-hook attempt.

UFC London 2023 LIVE: Herbert vs Ziam
Herbert (12-4-1) trains with welterweight champion Leon Edwards, and the Briton is aiming to regain momentum here after drawing last time out.
Herbert, 35, was unable to edge past Ludovit Klein at the O2 in March, and he went 1-1 at the venue in 2022, losing via knockout to Ilia Topuria before outpointing Kyle Nelson.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Ziam (13-4) has won eight of his last 10 bouts.

UFC London 2023 LIVE: Murphy vs Culibao
This is so strange. The replays of the high kick show Murphy’s toes grazing Culibao’s midriff but missing his head; yet the Australian went down anyway. Maybe Culibao tweaked his leg, knee or foot in that moment? Or that slight contact to the body winded him…

UFC London 2023 LIVE: Murphy vs Culibao
Murphy goes for a guillotine, but he can’t quite close it… so he opts to throw some more punches.
Now he tries for the guillotine once again, but Culibao defends well. Back to striking, for Murphy, who lands a nasty elbow!
We’ll go to the scorecards; that was a big round for the Briton.

UFC London 2023 LIVE: Murphy vs Culibao
A lot of people expected more striking from this fight, but we’re seeing another extended spell of grappling right now.
Culibao is able to reverse the position against the fence and work on a double-leg takedown, but the featherweights then separate and move into space.
OH! There’s the striking that fans expected! Murphy drops Culibao with a head kick! The Briton then pounces into Culibao’s guard and fires off punches. Culibao is still lucid, though.

UFC London 2023 LIVE: Murphy vs Culibao
A grappling exchange against the fence gives way to a nice elbow off the break by Murphy. He follows up with a long left hook but is caught with a knee to the head as he ducks.
Murphy then takes the back after a standing clinch, and he drags down Culibao. Murphy has the Aussie against the fence, and he has his hooks in.
