In 2017, she joined Cinefilia, the Dramatics & Filmmaking Society of Manipal University, Jaipur. In 2018, she quit the Cinefilia. In 2020, she completed her Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree at Manipal University, Jaipur (MUJ).

In December 2018, she interned at the Culture Machine Media Pvt. Ltd in Mumbai, Maharashtra. There, she worked with the social content team of Being Indian and Blush. In October 2018, she became the a Marketing Team Member at Howdybuddy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and resigned in February 2020. In February 2019, she joined a marketing team at TechSamvaad Pvt. Ltd. in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where she worked for a year. In February 2020, she joined Ericsson, a Swedish multinational networking and telecommunications company in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

She participated in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge show in 2017. Later, she was eliminated from the show. In February 2018, she joined Self Employed as a stand up comedian. She has performed at several comedy shows held at The Habitat and The Social House.

Controversy
Vidushi Swaroop was brutally trolled for labelling prostitution a “Cool Profession”
In October 2023, Vidushi Swaroop had to face backlash for the remarks she made on prostitution at her live performance which went viral on social media platforms. Several people trolled her on Twitter and showed their dismay by commenting against her remarks on prostitution.
Nothing is more dumb than saying Prostitution is a cool profession, ask those women who are working & going through these things.

The famous poet and politician, Kumar Vishwas slammed Vidushi Swaroop on Twitter. He tweeted in Hindi saying,
In fact, this is not only absurd but also inhuman. This insensitive joke is just a glimpse of today’s so-called stand-up presentations that constantly make fun of vulgar and cultural values. Fortunately, no male presenter did this cheap thing, otherwise, all the commissions would have woken up. Shame on those who laughed.”

In response to the mounting trolling, Vidushi Swaroop later addressed the situation through her Instagram handle by putting up a story which said,
This video is taken from a full YouTube video, so it does not reflect the actual perspective of the clip. Therefore, I have a humble request to all of you: before making your decision, please evaluate the entire video once.”
